Capital Programs

New baggage claim areaSince its establishment in 2001, the goal of the Capital Program Management Division has been to maintain and enhance the infrastructure of the Tallahassee Regional Airport. The Effects of this goal can be seen throughout the facility with the terminal rehabilitation projects and grounds improvements that include restroom renovations, erosion control throughout landscaping and retention pond improvements, new terminal and ground signage, and new fencing and perimeter road projects. Future projects include additional work on the terminal's mechanical systems, security enhancements, and other improvements to the structure and customer amenities such as the replacement of the terminal's entrance doors. Additionally, TLH continues to strive for long-term growth and development of the Airport's facilities. As such it is responsible for meeting the future needs of its tenants/leaseholders and work with our General Aviation tenants for ways to improve facilities that will enhance their ability to attract and retain existing customers and foster new business opportunities.

Finally, as part of the program the Capital Programs Division is responsible for managing the Tallahassee Regional Airport Change Request (TRAC-R) program. This new program provides the tenant with a single means to provide the Airport information about changes they like to make in their leasehold spaces. The TRAC-R procedures are mandatory for all tenants and must be approved before any significant changes are made to their facilities.
