2010 Tackle Football Registration
It is time to register for the 2010 Youth Tackle Football Season, and this year, we are introducing a new age group! The last day for registration is August 14, so be sure to get your registrations in soon. We have provided many convenient ways to register, and this year is sure to be fun. Check out the details below, including fees, registration sites and zone maps.
Important Notes:
- Participants are allowed to play up an age division; however, they cannot play down.
- Starting in Week 2, the maximum weight will increase by one pound each week.
- If the participant is more than five pounds over the weight limit during the first week of practice, they will not be allowed to participate, and a full refund will be issued upon request.
- All games will be held at Messer North Sports Complex.

| Zone Maps | All players must play within the zone indicated by the map linked below. Locate the zone that you reside in and register at the corresponding location. If there is more than one registration site in your zone, please choose the most convenient location. Post-Registration Information
A coach should contact all players no later than Saturday, August 21. Please write down the team name, coach's name and phone number and the practice times, days, and location for future reference. Teams are allowed to practice 4 days a week (3 days a week when games begin) for 90 minutes a day. Players should attend and be on time to all practices.
Pee Wee games will be played on Tuesday nights beginning September 28. Intermediate games will be played on either Tuesday or Wednesday nights. Junior games will be played on Wednesday nights beginning September 29. All games will be played at James Messer Sports Complex (north side - 2730 Jackson Bluff Road) beginning at 6:00pm or 7:30pm. Teams are expected to be ready for weigh in 30 minutes prior to game time. Each team will participate in a preseason jamboree on Saturday, September 25 and play a six (6) game schedule.
All players must weigh in before each game. In order to participate in games, Pee Wee players must weigh in at 100 pounds or less, Intermediate players must weigh in at 130 pounds or less and Junior players must weigh in at 150 pounds or less.
The Tallahassee Parks and Recreation Department will provide the following equipment for the player's use: helmet, shoulder pads and football pants with pads. Parents must sign an equipment letter stating all equipment will be returned at the end of the season. Please make the necessary arrangements (bring a change of clothes) for the equipment (pants included) to be returned as soon as your last game is completed. A uniform jersey will also be provided which the player may keep. If a player quits before the end of the season, it is the parents' responsibility to bring all equipment to the coach immediately.
