Florida Cemeteries
Note that many of the sites listed here are part of larger "master sites" which include links to cemetery and related information around the US, even the world. If you can't find what you're looking for in Florida, try some of these other master links.
- Florida Department of State searchable database: a work in progress. Enter a surname, click on the Search button, and up pops a list of matching burials around the state. (Includes 300+ burials in Tallahassee's Old City Cemetery.)

General Search-Engine Queries
All of the below queries use the specific search engine's "match ALL words" techniques. Specifically, they match on the words "cemetery burial records genealogy." Be sure to modify the search terms if you're looking for more or less specific matches.
General Cemetery Information/Cemetery Searches
- Tomb with a View "is about the appreciation, study and preservation of art and heritage found in historic cemeteries. This is the online version of the quarterly newsletter."
- The Political Graveyard: The primary purpose of this site is to identify the burial sites of politicians, statesmen, legislators, and the like. But it's also a good general resource.
- Find A Grave: Search by name, location, "claim to fame," or birth/death dates. Don't miss the clever, alternately moving and amusing "Posthumous Reunions" page.
- About.com: Cemetery-related pages at this encyclopedic reference site.
