Honorariums: A very Giving Remembrance
Please consider an honorarium to the Tallahassee Senior Foundation's Cornerstone Fund in memory of loved ones or special people who have made a difference in your life or the lives of others. Honorarium gifts to TSF ensure funding for senior programming in our area. What better tribute than a gift that "keeps on giving" well into the future!
Businesses and individuals can also give monies in recognition of accomplishment. The Florida Department of Elder Affairs recently celebrated "Older American Workers" as part of a national program to recognize the accomplishments of our senior workforce. Do you have mature adult employees who you want to honor? Your gift of appreciation for distinguished older workers makes a difference in the Tallahassee community. By gifting to TSF, you positively impact the lives of others.
Simply want to become part of something larger? Foundation members, business partners, senior center participants and others began the quest to build the endowment fund earlier this year in honor of Senior Services manager Sheila Salyer's 50th birthday. All monies donated to the fund are an investment in this and the next generation of seniors. Recently celebrating its 30th anniversary, the center sees the baton passing and the Foundation seeks an assurance that the future offers adequate funding for social engagement, health and wellness programs and recreational opportunity for our senior adults.
