Non-Medical In Home Services
Tallahassee has been identified as one of the top 10 communities in which to retire. Many retirees are relocating to the Tallahassee area and many local residents are retiring and choosing to remain in the area. Among those remaining, some are relocating within Tallahassee-Leon County, while others are opting to remain in their current homes. Retirees are very varied in the types of neighborhoods, neighborhood amenities, and types of housing options they are seeking for retirement. What does appear to be a common factor, is that most are wanting options and the ability to "age in place" – that is remain in the homes in which they are retiring as long as possible. Following are some resources to assist with "aging in place."
