Utility Projects
- Eastern Transmission Line Project - The Eastern Transmission line is being built in order to help increase electric reliability in the eastern part of Tallahassee, where development has outpaced construction of electric transmission lines and substations, creating a reliability concern.
- Integrated Resource Planning Project - Integrated Resource Planning (IRP) is a recurring effort undertaken by the City's Electric Utility to identify the preferred mix of supply and demand-side resources that will meet projected customer demand, provide service reliability and resource diversity at the lowest possible cost.
- Killearn Lakes Plantation I & II Sewer Project - Providing safe and sanitary sewer service to Killearn Lakes Plantation. Information on how to connect, loan programs and billing information.
- Tram Road Reuse Facility - The facility is part of the City's commitment to using treated wastewater in innovative and environmentally sensitive ways.
- Woodville Area Water Line Replacement Project - The city's Water Utility has rushed to completion of the design and obtained a verbal permit for construction from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). Construction began on July 25 to replace the 10-inch pipe in the Leon County section using materials obtained through expedited emergency purchasing procedures. Additional pipe will be purchased to complete the replacement within the next two to three months, weather permitting.
