Electric Utility
Tallahassee's
electric system has a total generating capacity of 667 megawatts, maintains
over 2200 miles of transmission and distribution lines, including 500 miles
of underground distribution lines. We employ over 300 people, who serve over
100,000 homes and businesses in the Tallahassee area. We have provided quality
electric service to the capital city of Florida for over 100 years.
