Due to the condition(s) checked below, we could not collect your Yard Trash and/or Bulky Items
- Mixed Waste Pile - Yard waste must be separated from bulky items and all other debris to ensure recycling of this material. The Leon County Solid Waste Facility does not accept mixed waste at the Class III landfill.
- Leaves, straw, and/or twigs are not in bags or boxes.
These items must be placed in containers so that they will not blow off the
truck or clog storm drains.
Please make sure your yard waste and bulky items are set out correctly for the next scheduled pickup.
You may request an off schedule pickup for an additional fee.

Card for Electronics
Electronics Contain Hazardous Materials
Many types of electronics (such as televisions and computer monitors, cell phones, electronics with computer chips) contain hazardous materials. Under interpretation of regulations of the Environmental Protection Agency and the laws governing the handling of hazardous waste, Solid Waste Services cannot pick up electronics placed at the curb as residential bulky items. Working electronics can be donated to Goodwill Services. You can take other electronics to the Leon County Electronics Recycling Program located at the landfill, 7550 Apalachee Parkway.
