Rebates for efficient, natural gas appliances.1. Electric heat pump. Energy efficient all-electric heating and cooling. In winter a heat pump transfers outdoor heat into the house. In summer it reverses operation, moving heat from inside to outside.

2. Electric central air conditioning, natural gas heating. Cool your house with standard electric central air conditioning. Warm the house with either a standard gas furnace, or with a gas "combination appliance" using a powerful tank or tankless gas water heater to heat your water as well as your house.

3. Tank or Tankless gas water heater. If you need more hot water, consider a gas water heater. But if you want to Never Run Out Of Hot Water Again, consider a tankless gas water heater. Call Energy Services for information on $450 gas water heater rebates.

4. Natural gas range/oven. The heat starts fast and stops fast, and pans heat uniformly.

5. Natural gas fire logs. Enjoy your hearth! Newer fire log sets feature remote control operation.

6. Ceiling insulation. Ceiling insulation keeps your house warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

7. Refrigerators. Today's refrigerators are almost twice as efficient as those made before 1993.

8. Solar water heating system. Use free energy from the sun.
