Downtown Recycling Partnership

Recycling is one of the most significant actions a business can take to protect our environment. This is why the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce and the City of Tallahassee are partnering in an initiative to encourage recycling among downtown businesses.
The Downtown Recycling Partnership involves Downtown Merchants and Business Association, Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Authority, Sustainable Tallahassee and Highpoint Center. Businesses within the boundaries of Gaines, Tennessee, Gadsden and Bronough, may register and receive a 96-gallon recycling bin for weekly pickup. The recyclable materials collected will be paper and cardboard only, excluding paper with greasy or wet food like pizza boxes or drink cartons. There will also be locations downtown where businesses can recycle plastic bottles or aluminum cans.
The Downtown Recycling Partnership begins in mid-May and cost per business is $14 a month. There is no charge for the plastic bottles and cans collection. To participate, please complete and submit the form below. For more information, please contact 850-891-4YOU.
